Kasey Rubenstein

Kasey Rubenstein is a freelance writer and a film buff. Her education is in film, particularly screenwriting. She received her degree in 2011 from the University of California Santa Cruz, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and won an award for her thesis essay on the German film Run Lola Run. She enjoys writing screenplays, short stories, comics, and middle grade fiction about superheroes, psychics, zombies and all things out of this world. Her favorite travel destination is Japan, her favorite movie is Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and her favorite superhero is the Flash.

Kasey also has a history of educating young minds as a tutor, teaching assistant, after school care program leader, and intern with CalTeach. Her work with the student travel organization, Scholastic Expeditions, introduced her to writing professionally as a content writer, which she has since made her full time career. You can see her work on websites like eBay, Hipmunk, BuyCostumes.com, Monster.com, LinkedIn, StubHub, and many more, though most of it is ghostwritten.
